Report the right issue in the right place.
A discrepancy can come from Carrierfolio’s processing or from the underlying official source. Those situations require different paths.
Carrierfolio processing or display errors
Carrierfolio may correct an error introduced by its own acquisition, normalization, search, profile display, or provenance handling. Reports should identify the USDOT number, the field in question, what appears incorrect, and supporting source context.
A monitored public correction destination has not yet been approved for launch. No request is accepted through this page today. The approved contact method must be published here before Carrierfolio accepts public correction requests.
Errors in the official source record
Carrierfolio displays external source facts and does not silently replace them with a conflicting platform value. If the Company Census record itself is wrong, the responsible entity may need to update its registration through FMCSA. After the source changes, a later successful Carrierfolio refresh can reflect it.

Future correction reports must be reviewable and traceable. A report will not be treated as proof that a record is wrong, and it will not trigger an unlogged rewrite of source facts. Carrierfolio may document a platform correction or wait for an official-source update, depending on the evidence.
